If you like your home to have everything   nearby, Southeast Charlotte may be the perfect spot for you!

SE Charlotte is almost a city unto itself! Originally this section of Charlotte became an area destination due to its high scoring schools.

Education
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools serves   southeast Charlotte and the whole of the city. There are a number  of schools at all levels  in southeast Charlotte,  including some great private schools. Queen's University is     conveniently located in south and southeast Charlotte.

As you will come to know, Ardrey Kell High School, Myers Park High School and Providence High School are ranked among the highest in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District.  These three high schools are supported by a number of schools of excellence at the elementary and middle school levels. Secondly, this section of Charlotte supports a large variety of private and charter schools.

Recreation
SE Charlotte was once just fields for the rabbits to roam. Today the green space remains plentiful-as do the rabbits, the squirrels, the deer...okay, and possums. Amongst all of this green space are the golf courses...and they seem to pop up everywhere...as do the golfers!

Southeast Charlotte has several of the city's many green parks, including McAlpine Creek Park, James Boyce Park and Mason Wallace Park. South Charlotte Public Library is one of the most popular libraries around. There are also several nearby places to worship and over 700 places to do so in the city, known as "The City of Churches."

Movie theatres, restaurants and shopping run rampant. Ball parks, walking trails, neighborhoods, with pools tennis courts, local gyms,...small ponds and streams all blended beautifully into the area.

Plenty of great shopping centers in the area offer up a variety of outdoor eateries enhanced with water fountains, ice cream shops, and areas to let the kids run for just a moment between shops!  Less than ten minutes away is Carolina Place Mall. A huge indoor shopping mall with furniture row located directly across from it. Upscale shopping can be had just 20 minutes away at Southpark Mall. Here you'll find one of the prettiest malls in the South.
